- Ale Works -
The owners of Ale Works, Tim and Robin, noticed and deeply enjoyed the way restaurants and pubs inspired a sense of community, common spirit, and local identity, while traveling throughout Europe. Whether it be the pubs of Ireland, the beer halls of Germany, or the bistros of Italy; these are the meeting places for families, friends, and communities. It’s in the neighborhood restaurant that business is done, birthdays and anniversaries are celebrated, and important conversations take place. As it’s often said, “food brings people together”. At Ale Works, we have a desire to bring that sense of community and place home to Bismarck. The design of Ale Works was inspired directly from the old Wilton Train Station. The train station is still standing, and we feel it’s a magnificent representation of the region.

- Inspiration -
At Ale Works we are inspired by radical hospitality, along with craft beer and food that exceeds expectations. That said, we stand strong by 3 goals: showcase great food, pour great beer, and foster pride in our community while celebrating our North Dakota german heritage.
It is our goal to give unparalleled service in a relaxed atmosphere where family and friends gather.
We are committed to a uniquely Midwestern dining experience while striving to include North Dakota products based on availability.
